Terms & Conditions for Client

These terms and conditions are applicable to all contracts for the provision of Services to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions.

No variation of these terms and conditions is accepted by Shaker SA unless agreed in advance in writing.


In the event of cancellation, 28 days minimum notice in writing to Shaker SA before the Event is required to avoid the full invoice being charged. Booking deposits are not transferable (Unless discussed with Shaker SA and approved in writing) or refundable. Full payment is required if Shaker SA have not received 28 days notice in writing.


All written quotations will be valid for 7 days from date of enquiry. Booking enquiries may be provisionally held for longer however, Shaker will continue to produce quotations for future clients. We can not guarantee that your date will be available after these 7 days. Shaker bookings are on a first come first served basis. To confirm booking please send signed quotation with 50% booking deposit to Shaker SA.

The balance of event is due 14 days before date of the service/event provided by Shaker SA except where approved suppliers hold accounts.


Parking is required for all events and must be provided by the client, for vehicle registration number please contact your account manager.

Suitable access for both unloading and loading the van must be provided as close to the event location as possible. Bars can NOT be carried up or down more than 5 stairs, lifts must be available for use. Doorway’s need to be a minimum of 900mm. For Outside events, suitable flooring or walkways must be provided to roll bars over. Bars can not be wheeled over gravel or grass. All rates are subject to change without prior notice. All Services within South Africa (unless otherwise specified) are subject to V.A.T. at the rate of 14%.


All outstanding payments due to Shaker SA after 30 days will be passed to Solicitors where further action will be taken. In the event of expenses being incurred to retrieve the monies due, including interest, legal and court fees the debtor/client will be responsible for the payment of all such expenses and fees.


Shaker SA shall not be liable for any delay, loss or cancellation of goods arising from contingencies beyond their control.
The above conditions are subject to change at the discretion of the Company in part or in whole for one or more of its Clients where the Company has grounds deemed necessary
